On the occasion of the 9^th OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity Walking Challenge, take part in this iconic Peak District hike - The 9 Edges Challenge! You'll be treated to stunning views of the Peak District as you tick off 9 Edges, from Derwent Edge to Birchen Edge. We have a 23mile distance challenge (9 Edges), for those 11+ and a shorter distance at 13miles (Nearly 9 Edges), suitable for those who prefer a slightly shorter distance and younger legs (calling all of you under 11s!).
For the shorter distance, we'll arrange transport and plan to join up with the full distance challengers! Then both distances will hopefully finish the event as one, crossing the line together!

OSCAR's provides ongoing support and care for children with brain tumours and their families, raises awareness of signs and symptoms and funds research into this dreadful disease.  As part of the challenge, the charity is simply asking you to try to raise at least £200 per person - then the £20,000 fundraising target for the event can be reached.
