MCCARTHY STONE FOUNDATION SOUTH DOWNS COAST CHALLENGE

Registration Page – Sign Up Today

Join us for the McCarthy Stone Foundation South Downs Coast Challenge — our biggest and most ambitious challenge event of the year! Lace up your boots and take on a stunning adventure across the South Downs National Park alongside colleagues, friends, and McCarthy Stone supply partners, all while raising vital funds to support the Foundation.

Choose Your Distance

We have 200 places available across three route options:

  • 12km – coach transport out, walk back
  • 30km – circular route
  • 50km – circular route

What to Expect

Guided by the expert leaders from RAW Adventures, you’ll trek through some of the most breathtaking scenery the South Downs has to offer — including The Long Man (chalk figure), the Seven Sisters, and Windover Hill.

Along the way you’ll:

  • Traverse varied and rewarding terrain
  • Experience panoramic coastal and countryside views
  • Learn about local wildlife, history, and ancient trade routes
  • Build resilience, camaraderie and unforgettable memories

RAW Adventures’ experienced team will be with you every step of the way to ensure a safe, motivating, and enjoyable challenge.

Make a Difference

All sponsorship raised will be match funded, helping the McCarthy Stone Foundation reduce loneliness and isolation for older people across England, Scotland and Wales.

Last year’s Surrey 2/3 Peaks Challenge raised over £73,000, and participants loved the chance to connect, challenge themselves, and make a real impact. This year, we’re aiming even higher.

There is no registration fee, but we ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.
