Join us for the McCarthy Stone Foundation Peak District Challenge — our biggest and most ambitious challenge event of the year! Lace up your boots and take on a stunning adventure across the Peak District National Park alongside colleagues, friends, and McCarthy Stone supply partners, all while raising vital funds to support the Foundation.

• 46km – circular route

What to Expect

Guided by the expert leaders from RAW Adventures, you’ll trek through some of the most breathtaking scenery the Peak District has to offer — including Chatsworth House, Monsal Head Viaduct and Baslow Edge.

Along the way you’ll:

• Traverse varied and rewarding terrain
• Experience panoramic coastal and countryside views
• Learn about local wildlife, history, and ancient trade routes
• Build resilience, camaraderie and unforgettable memories

RAW Adventures’ experienced team will be with you every step of the way to ensure a safe, motivating, and enjoyable challenge.

Make a Difference

All sponsorship raised will be match funded, helping the McCarthy Stone Foundation reduce loneliness and isolation for older people across England, Scotland and Wales. 

Last year’s Surrey 2/3 Peaks Challenge raised over £73,000, and participants loved the chance to connect, challenge themselves, and make a real impact. This year, we’re aiming even higher.

There is no registration fee, but we ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.

Event Timings

Cut-off points will be in place along the route to ensure safe completion.

Course closes at 20:30 (latest finish time).

We are in the process of finding the perfect start and finish line for the big day, therefore please note exact timings/route are TBC.
