Hypershell are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive Hypershell Exoskeleton Demo Day on Saturday, March 28th. This is a rare, no-cost opportunity to get hands-on with cutting-edge gear designed to transform your hiking experience by helping you walk lighter, longer, and with less effort. To ensure a premium, personalised session, we are limiting this event to just 30 members and supporters.
We will be diving into the action at 09:30 with a sharp product briefing before heading out into the Goyt Valley. To give you the best possible experience, we’ll split into small, personal groups of five, allowing you to put the exoskeleton through its paces in the real-world environment it was built to enhance.
This circular walk explores the scenic Goyt Valley near Marple, taking in a mix of cotton-mill heritage, panoramic packhorse trails, and tranquil woodland. Starting and ending at Marple rail station (SJ963893), the route follows lanes, woodland paths, and tracks, eventually joining the Peak Forest Canal. Highlights include passing the ruins of Mellor Mill, walking high along the valley flanks, and descending beside the impressive Marple Locks.
The walk covers a distance of 10.5 km (approximately 6.5 miles) with a total ascent of 308 meters (1,010 feet). It is classified as an easy navigation level and a leisurely fitness level, typically taking around 3 to 4 hours to complete but a little longer for us as we enjoy using the exoskeleton. The terrain can be muddy in places, so appropriate footwear is recommended, though the route features no stiles.
We have limited this exclusive experience to just 30 participants to ensure everyone gets the best hands-on support. Because space is so high in demand, we kindly ask that if your plans change, you cancel your place immediately to allow a fellow walker from The Ramblers community to join the adventure.
You’ll enjoy approximately 45 minutes of dedicated time to put the product to the test while soaking up the incredible atmosphere and shared passion of the community.

Around 12:30, we will pause our hike to recharge and open up the floor for a deeper-dive conversation about the Hypershell Exoskeleton. This is your chance to share your initial impressions, ask questions, and connect with the group over lunch. Please come prepared with a packed lunch, plenty of water, and any snacks you'll need to stay fueled for our journey through the valley.
