The Surrey 2/3 Peaks Challenge offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the rolling hills and lush countryside of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty while raising money for the McCarthy Stone Foundation. Guided by RAW Adventures' experienced leaders, this route takes you to the summits of Holmbury Hill, Box Hill, and Leith Hill—the highest point in Southeast England.

This event has two route options and at 29km and 50km respectively, the Surrey 2 Peaks or 3 Peaks routes definitely are a challenge! Both routes are circular, starting and finishing in Gomshall.

Along the way, you'll tackle varied terrain, soak in panoramic views, and test your endurance over a rewarding full-day adventure. Not only this, but the money you raise in sponsorship will be helping to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people. Every penny that you raise in sponsorship will be matched by McCarthy Stone and will go to small grassroots charities helping older people.

Last year’s Jurassic Walk Challenge raised more than £40,000 for the Foundation, and our McCarthy Stone walkers enjoyed spending time with colleagues while taking on a really worthwhile challenge!

We don’t ask for any money to register for this event, but we would ask that you raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship for the Foundation please.

Throughout the challenge, you'll be supported by RAW Adventures' expert team, ensuring your safety and motivation every step of the way. As you ascend each peak, you'll discover the rich history and diverse wildlife that make the Surrey Hills so special, from ancient woodlands to sweeping vistas. With every climb and descent, you’ll strengthen your connection to the landscape and your own resilience.

Whichever route you choose, your supporters will know you’ve really pushed yourself to achieve something special through the course of the day.
