Yr Wyddfa is the highest peak in Wales and at 1085m it’s a tough climb to reach the summit once, let alone 3 times! However, you are rewarded with tremendous views over the coast and across northern Snowdonia from its lofty heights. If the cloud obscures these fine views from the summit, as it often can, there is still plenty of exciting mountain terrain to make this an exciting and adventurous day out.
After meeting your mountain leaders in Llanberis, we'll transport you via coach to the start of the Watkin path. Taking this stunning route to the summit for the first time, you'll then return down the historic Miner's track to re-fuel at Pen Y Pass. Back to the summit for the second time via the popular PYG track, then on down the peaceful Rhyd Ddu path for your next re-fuel stop. Leaving Rhyd Ddu, you'll head across to join the dramatic Ranger path for your final ascent before sighing with relief as you descend via the Llanberis path all the way back to where you started.
Standard itinerary - an exact version will be shared with you in your confirmation email and again 4 weeks and 1 weeks before your event.
